What happened to our 1-800 number? Effective May 9, 2005, we have discontinued our toll free number and now accept phone calls via our local number which is (352) 328-8761. Why did we do this? Based on customer feedback, providing toll free phone service proved to be unnecessarily costly. Surveys we conducted showed that most customers called us on cell phones with free long distance, or home phones with unlimited long distance plans. Because providing toll free service is costly (we paid both a monthly service charge and a per-minute charge on each call), it seemed more cost effective to discontinue the 800 number service and pass the savings on to our customers in the form of even lower prices. Remember, you can still call us on our local number which is (352) 328-8761. If you do not want to call, we also have email and instant message support!
